STARS-536 is a 2022 video from SOD Create, which was the AV debut of Suzune Rin. The video is unusual in that it is a collaboration between three directors.
The video starts with a very snazzy intro. SOD Create have been doing a superb job with these in recent years. Beautiful outdoor shots are combined with some really pleasing still photography. I really love the aesthetics; it's just not something you'd get with video. There are clips of Rin playing softball (which is her hobby) and working at a Chinese restaurant. Rin is super cute; I love her cheeks and facial structure.
The bulk of the video is composed of three parts, the first of which is directed by Hoshi Shoot. In this section, Rin undergoes a 12 minute grilling, in which she seems to be asked every question under the sun, from her favourite colour (yellow) to what she found surprising when she moved to Tōkyō (the huge number of convenience stores). Of course, there were the usual sexual questions such as how old she was when she had her first sexual experience (17). Having to answer such a barrage of questions would stress me out real quick, but Rin holds up very well.
After the questioning is finally over, it's time for a sex scene with Moribayashi Genjin. It's all very gentle, and the two have great chemistry. I like that the scene is in front of a window looking out at a lush garden.
The second part of the video is directed by Yanai Hajime in a gonzo style. At night, Hajime meets Rin at what is, despite best efforts to blur the station's name, very clearly the western entrance to Sakura-shimmachi Station. From there, they travel by car (chatting a lot along the way) to the nearby American Stadium where both Rin and Hajime practise their batting skills. Once they've had their fill of that, they make their way to a hotel room to fuck, where they have a nice nighttime view of the Tōkyō skyline.
Part Three is directed by Tanaka Bacon and was filmed on Awaji Island in Hyōgo Prefecture, from where Rin hails. I actually wanted to visit the island during my trip to the Kansai region last year, however it turns out it's rather a pain to get to, so I decided to give it a miss. With this video, however, I get to enjoy its sights from the comfort of my own home!
Rin takes us on a tour of the island. We see the famous onion fields, and she takes us to her middle school, reliving fond memories. After eating a plate of sushi, she also shows us photos of her as a child. If it weren't for the sex scenes interspersed throughout this footage, it would all be very wholesome.
The credits roll, but that's not the end of the video! There are two bonus scenes. In the first, Rin gets undressed and her body measured. Not only her height and three sizes get measured, but also the diameter of her areolæ, as well as the size and depth of her pussy. Rin, quite understandably, finds the process highly embarrassing.
To wrap up the video is the second bonus scene and the real reason I wanted to check out this video in the first place. Rin dons an apron and teaches us how to make her speciality – Chinese style dumplings. Rin seems to be in her element as she skilfully prepares them. They look delicious, and it's a joy to see Rin's delight in eating them.
This is a rather unique AV debut, which flies in the face of those who say debut videos are boring (though perhaps it's the exception that proves the rule?). Either way, Rin is super cute and, though she retired only a year later, certainly made an impression on me.
