STAR-843 is a 2017 video from SOD Create and director Ōmura Dai. Shiraishi Marina plays a housewife living with her husband, whose quiet domestic life gets shaken up when her nephew Stevu comes to stay for a few days. Stevu is billed as half-black (though honestly I'm not sure if the actor is half or fully black), and from the moment he shows up, he's treated like a special guest in the house.
A running gag is that Stevu absolutely loves Marina's nikuman (meat buns). It's both literal and a pretty obvious innuendo, and the film keeps circling back to it in a way that's both funny and cheeky.
Things start to heat up when Marina begins fantasising about Stevu, imagining little scenarios that give away how curious she's becoming. Stevu isn't exactly passive either – he sneaks peeks at her, and there's a playful sense of who’s watching who? as the tension builds. Eventually, they end up bathing together, and that's the turning point where the intimacy becomes real instead of just imagined.
As you'd expect, Marina and Stevu grow close and intimate, but what makes this video stand out is how much fun the dynamic is between all three characters. Marina's husband doesn't just fade into the background – he and Stevu have surprisingly great chemistry of their own. At times it almost feels like the husband is as smitten with Stevu as Marina is, which adds a goofy, lighthearted energy to the whole thing.
The acting is undeniably cheesy in places, but it works. Marina sells the fantasy with her usual charm, Stevu mixes awkwardness with charisma, and the husband brings an almost sitcom-like goofiness to the mix. The result is more funny and entertaining than 'serious drama', which is exactly what makes this video stand out.
Overall, STAR-843 is just a really enjoyable watch. It's playful, a little silly, and doesn't take itself too seriously. Between the innuendo, the affectionate household dynamic, and the over-the-top moments, it's hard not to smile while watching.
