Machine Gunner is a 2023 film from studio Digital Playground and director Ricky Greenwood.
Kira Noir stars as Nikki Ransom, who leads a squad of black ops soldiers to capture defector Joe Riggs (Alex Jones), who also happens to be her ex.
Kira really is the star of the show, giving a compelling performance throughout. The same can't really be said for Nicole Doshi who plays squadmate Maggie Tombs but overacts.
That is in stark contrast to Kayley Gunner, whom you might have thought would be perfect for this flick, being a former soldier herself. However, she underacts a lot in her portrayal of squadmate Rena Lockett. I did, however, enjoy Luna Star's performance as Daytona, one of Joe's subordinates.
The film also stars the late Herschel Savage as the extremely strict General Tate, in what was possibly his final role. May he rest in peace.
The film is quite a big budget production, with a lot of physical stunts and special effects, although it feels slightly cheapened by elements like a CG helicopter. That said, I do appreciate the effort that went into making this film, and I highly recommend checking out the behind-the-scenes footage to find out more about how it was put together.
Despite this, however, I didn't find the film all that compelling, unfortunately. None of the characters are all that likeable, and I found the plot underwhelming. But if you want to see a porn film with lots of action, this is certainly a prime candidate.
