This is a review of a video I watched as part of the Soapy JAV Challenge, in which one must watch 20 JAVs between 15th September and 15th October. This is video 22 of 20.
JUX-271 is a 2014 video from studio Madonna and director Mishima Rokusaburō.
The story goes that the protagonist, Keiichirō (played by Minami Yoshiya), visits his mother-in-law, Hibiki Ririko, as he fears for his wife Maria's safety after she ran away from home.
Ririko also worries for her daughter, and the two of them together try to find out where Maria is. They form a bond and, well, things get a bit intimate between the two of them!
I won't spoil the story, but I did enjoy the mystery aspect of where Maria went, and it actually becomes rather exciting. That said, I was not impressed by Ririko's performance; she is not very expressive and her character just came across very dull and uninteresting.
As is the case with a lot of videos, I was actually a lot more impressed with the uncredited actress who has no sex scenes, i.e. the woman who plays Maria. She was a lot more expressive and exhibited a range of emotions rather well. By the way, kudos to anyone who can tell me the name of the actress.
Although some scenes could have done with a bit more care, others were quite impressive in terms of framing and how they show the rift between Keiichirō and Maria in subtle ways.
There are enjoyable aspects to this video, but overall it's a bit lacklustre. At least there are some food scenes!
